How do I know if I need a 20′ or 40′ shipping container?

The best way to figure out which size cargo container you need is to complete our free online freight quote or Call (978) 851-0199. A twenty foot cargo container holds about 850 to 1050 cubic feet, and is usually enough space to fit a 1 to 2 bedroom household, or one vehicle with a few small household goods. A forty foot cargo container holds about 1,850 to 2,200 cubic feet, and is typically appropriate for moving 3 to 5 bedroom households, or 1 vehicle and a 2 bedroom household.
